Getting to the venue
By Public Transport
You can take the train to the Leuven railway station. There are plenty of busses travelling between the train station and our venue. Please use our route planner above to see which trains/busses suit your timings best.
Note: most busses will stop at the hospital entrance, from which you have to walk about 10 minutes to the venue (take the glass walkway up to the roof (+2) parking area, from there you will see the red building (our venue)).
There is, however, one bus line that will travel up the hill and stop almost in front of the venue: bus line 3.
The UCLL Department of Health & Technology campus is located outside the center of Leuven, near Gasthuisberg Hospital. The roadworks are not completely finished, but the campus is way more accessible than in 2013.
Coming from the E40:
Between exit 22 (Tervuren/Bertem) and 23 (Haasrode/Blanden) you exit the E40 en continue on the E314 in the direction of Leuven/Hasselt/Genk. From there on, read below:
Coming from the E314:
Take exit 16 (Gasthuisberg) and follow the roadsigns towards the parking. There's a free parking during the weekends, and a payed parking from the hospital (see below).
Coming from the town center:
Follow the roadsigns to UZ Leuven (Gasthuisberg). There's a free parking during the weekends, and a payed parking from the hospital (see below).
"Parking Villa" is free of charge and is located close to the venue (coming from the E314, follow the roadsigns or check our map, it's indicated on it).
Normally this parking is only open during weekends, but as the event is scheduled during a vacation period, they expect it to be open on Friday as well.
If the parking is full, or for some reason is not open, you might have to follow the signs to the "Gasthuisberg parking".
If you park at the hospital, it is advised to park on the highest level (+2). You will see the red building (our venue) from here.
It is strictly forbidden to park in front of the venue itself!
